Is harm management ever enough?

Reforming the settler-colonial capitalist system is not harm reduction. It is harm management.

You cannot reform a system built on extraction, dispossession, exploitation, and hierarchy into something fundamentally liberatory. At best, reform makes the system more tolerable while preserving the structures that produce harm.

The goal should not be to make oppression more livable. It should be to dismantle the conditions that make oppression possible.
