A fairer tax system? That would be a start

Why does the everyday person slave to earn a wage and pay their taxes while the ultra rich hardly pay any?

Here in Australia, income tax is much higher than in the US (up to 47% in the top bracket, with a threshold 4 times lower than the US’ top bracket). But you can bet that mining billionaires like Gina R can easily pay someone to find their way around all that. And then purchase a languishing (racist) right-wing political party to capture the state, suing anyone who stands in their way … because money = top lawyers. Yes, this is literally happening—right here, right now, that random political party has become insanely popular. Gina must be laughing at how very easy it was to trick a huge swathe of the flag-waving populace—and suppress dissent.

Elon was the first trillionaire. His wealth has oustripped all the other tech bros by several factors. Hmm, I wonder if his central role in US politics (cutting jobs) has played a role in that? He’s investing more money in the next election campaign alone than most people can even dream of getting their hands on. State capture really pays off, since you can pretty much set your own rules after that.
