Today we’re going to talk about some definitions.
-if someone supports trans mascs but not trans women in womens spaces or a lesbian context. They are not a trans ally. They are a TERF who sees trans mascs as butch women
-If someone supports trans men and women. But not trans women who haven’t taken certain medical transition steps… That person is a TRUSCUM
-truscum has degrees. It can be HRT, it can be surgery (see problematic dolls vs trans women who’s parents aren’t rich (or aren’t talking to them)). And most of us will have dumb takes while we unlearn all the prejudice we had ingrained in us growing up
“The things you need to unlearn on the way to becoming a half decent person” is a never ending journey
“If you don’t look back at who you were 5 years ago and cringe. Then you’re not doing the work of being a better person.”
