Indigenous groups are constantly coming up with things, like the Uluru Statement From the Heart. There was a referendum vote last year or so for an “Indigenous Voice” in the parliament, but it didn’t get up…and even Indigenous people were divided on whether or not it was a good idea, because it didn’t go nearly far enough.
