Post cover photo, from Pexels Free Photos, shows some of the massive amounts of ‘goods’ sent around the world in shipping containers, many of them frivolous (e.g. fast fashion and plastic trinkets), at great environmental cost, in the interests of global capitalism. Looks pretty though?
Gosh, what DOESN’T bother me about commercialism?! I don’t like fast fashion, fast food, people being encouraged to buy things they don’t need, things with a limited life span on purpose so you have to throw them into landfill and buy more…
